Brasserie-restaurant La Boussole is located on the Brussels Fish Market and has been on the same straight course since 1997. Both at lunchtime and in the evenings, Vassilis Tsibidas, a warm and dedicated host, is present to ensure the best possible journey.
Both the kitchen and the restaurant are under his direct supervision, but his main concern is to make his guests happy. Today, La Boussole has become one of the reference restaurants of the Sainte-Cathérine borough where one feels at home and is ensured of tasteful and well turned out dishes.
The wood panelled walls with mirrors, the small tables and banquettes in moleskin, give La Boussole a Parisian Bistro feeling. At the back is the second room with a grand piano and available for groups up to 20 people.
When the weather is nice, the small street side terrace is also a good option.
He leaves his home country Greece in 1970 and goes to the Hotel School in Lausanne. In 1974 he is involved in the opening of the famous Stekerlapatte restaurant in the “Marolles”; this is followed by restaurant “Grand Amour” in rue Haute and the import of Greek wines and products.
“I’m a happy man” Vassilis says often.. and we can readily believe that.
